Over 95 percent qualify class 8th exams in J&K | KNO

Srinagar, Apr 10 (KNO): With an overall pass percentage of over 95 percent, State Council of Educational Research and Training Monday declared results of 8th standard in hard and soft zones of Jammu, Kashmir divisions. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that in both hard and soft zones, at least 95.02 percent students from the government schools have qualified the exams including 93.85 in Jammu division and 95.85 in Kashmir division respectively. He said that 98.58 percent students of private schools in both soft and hard zones have also qualified the exams. "97.84 percent students of private schools from Jammu and 95.53 from Kashmir division have qualified the exams." The official said that a total of 17,554,7 students were enrolled for the exams and 16,956,4 candidates qualified the exams—(KNO)
